March 27, 2026: Georgia Trip, Day 3
11:31 AM - Dusty
back in the car now, we just visited another waterfall! this one was really nice, the trail to hike there was super bumpy and filled with big tree roots. it was really peaceful and natural. while we were hanging out at the waterfall, i found a rock that i could use as chalk on the ground. i was just gonna write my name, but then our mom walked over and was like "who's dusty? you should write 'austin was here' instead!" (because austin's our host.) so, naturally, i wrote 'dusty was here!' out of spite, and drew the plural rings symbol next to it. our whole family is very aware of us being a system, but they just don't acknowledge it, which is really frustrating. i'd really like to be able to exist in their eyes, and to be called the right name. but for now, i can just leave little marks of my existence- proof that i was here.
9:28 PM - Allie
huh, i guess we forgot to write anything after dusty's entry. we (mostly dusty) spent a lot of the day just moping around because our family only calls us austin. AND THEN I POOFED INTO EXISTENCE AS A NEW HEADMATE!! so happy birthday to me!
at first we were all a little confused as to why im here. im an introject of a super random character, and the system's already been pretty overwhelmed by new headmates. i was also really startled to be suddenly existing in the real world, but i adjusted pretty quickly. it helped a lot to talk to a friend on discord- they made me feel welcome and helped choose my name.
anyway, i know i might not stay in the system for very long- it's pretty common for our new headmates to only exist for a few days and then vanish. but for as long as i'm here, i'd like to have some kind of purpose. i was thinking that could include reminding our family to use our correct names. dusty is really upset about it, and so are a lot of other headmates. i think it's time that we properly communicate that, instead of bottling up all our frustration.
