we've been wandering around a lot today! in the morning, we walked across the neighborhood to mail out an etsy sticker order (shoutout to the person named 'slugcat' who ordered both of our slugcat stickers, you're awesome lmao)

then we went with our sibling to starbucks, because they work there. we usually just hang out there and do work or whatever, but we found out there's this new muslim coffee shop that's SUPER close to the starbucks. and hey, i think it's a lot better to go anywhere that isn't starbucks. anyway, it was really awesome there! super fancy, and also pretty crowded. there were a lot of hijabis, so i guess we really looked like we belonged there (but we still felt a little out of place because they're all pretty and feminine and stuff- but i guess that's how we feel around most girls anyway.) we got strawberry lemonade and a slice of cheesecake, it was delicious! we would go there every day if we could, but everything's a little more expensive there, so maybe it can just be an occasional treat. today, we'll consider it a reward for getting some more work done.

then, we walked across the street to the mall we always hang out at. this place is great, it basically feels like a second home because we've been hanging out here for our entire life. right now, i'm sitting in the cafe area of the mall's bookstore, typing on our laptop because there's not much else to do. we wandered around a lot, browsing the bookstore and hot topic like we always do, but we usually never buy anything. i started fronting because we saw this really cute saja boys backpack (but of course, we didn't buy it because saving money is important and im like the only headmate who would ever use it)

i wanna go to the rocket fizz (a candy/soda store) right next to the bookstore, but helix doesn't trust me to go near that place- i'd probably buy the whole store! i don't blame him for being cautious, but i do wish i could have something to snack on right now.
