someone bought the print of me on our etsy shop, yayyy!! i drew a little doodle of myself on the thank-you note :3

anyway, not much happened today. oliver fronted for a little while and helped clean our room. we were thinking of making a comic about why we clean our room, because a lot of headmates have really different reasons. like quintus says the clutter is too distracting, sunny ties all his self-worth into our ability to do chores, and dusty just likes having something to do. i also get annoyed by the mess, but i honestly feel a little hopeless about it? like it feels like no matter how hard we try to make our room look nice, it'll just...never feel 'clean' enough. we just have so much stuff!! and none of us really want to get rid of anything!!

now we've been stuck in waiting mode because our mom is bringing home some of our favorite food (orange chicken!!). im hoping journalling here will make the time pass faster. but i guess there's a lot of other stuff i need to do... this system's really not very good at self-care!! like im just now remembering we still need to shower and brush our teeth, and washing our face is nice too. it kinda sucks that im like the only headmate that cares about that sort of thing.
